- Top Challenges for the EU: The leading concerns included irregular immigration (47%), resolving the Ukraine and Middle East conflicts (42%), and enhancing EU economic competitiveness (40%).
- Middle East Conflict: 69% of respondents supported stopping EU arms supplies to Israel, showcasing broad consensus across political groups.
- Climate Change: 70% viewed international conferences like COPs as ineffective, with skepticism higher in France and Southern Europe.
- Nuclear Energy and Packaging Materials: 42% supported further development of nuclear energy in Europe, while preferences for packaging materials highlighted biodegradable plastics (38%) and paper/cardboard (36%).
This study underscores Europeans’ concerns about global conflicts, migration, and sustainability, alongside mixed confidence in EU governance.
